We have started this fundraising page in memory of our son Kaiah Who was born too soon at just 22 weeks on Christmas Eve 2011. Saying goodbye to Kaiah and having to walk out of the hospital without him in our arms was the hardest and most painful thing we have ever had to do, nothing can prepare you for the heart ache of losing your baby. We wanted to do something to honor Kaiah's memory and show how much we love and miss him. We feel that Bears Of Hope is the perfect way to honor him, as his passing will continue to help provide love and support for other parents dealing with the loss of their baby. We are hoping we are able to help raise money for the Bears Of Hope so they can continue to support and help other parents that experience the loss of their baby like they have done for us.

When you have just experienced the loss of your baby, a very difficult journey begins emotionally & spiritually. It’s a path that only one, who has ever experienced it, will ever truly understand the incredible turmoil of grief. But there is an underlying strength that can never be taken away from you….Hope. Bears of Hope name was created to capture the spirit of what there program signifies. HOPE that through there bears they can provide comfort to parents during the darkest time of their life; HOPE that through offering ongoing support they can help towards the healing of their hearts. And HOPE for the parents that some day they will bring home a healthy baby safe in their arms.

Bears Of Hope offers support and guidance for parents who have experienced the loss of their baby during Pregnancy, Birth or Infancy. Through the donation of a bear of hope, parents are provided with the comfort of knowing they are not alone from the very beginning, and offered significant ongoing support to heal their broken hearts.

We welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make! Your support will have a profound impact on the lives of families and is greatly appreciated by us and Bears Of Hope.
 

For every $45 I raise, a Bears Of Hope Package will be donated in honor of Kaiah to John Flynn Hospital where he was born & also other Hospitals in need, to support another family who lose their baby. These support packages provide a Bear of Hope keepsake, an invaluable guide on how to create precious memories with their baby before they say goodbye forever and other comforting keepsakes. These packages are the link to an incredible support network, giving parents a place to start before they even leave the hospital.

All donations over $2 are tax deductable.
